Ponnur Temples and Bapatla Beach,AP,India

My whole family departed from Guntur, AP, India in the morning on 2nd January 2009. On our way to Ponnur I saw lush greenery, sparkling rivers and canals and special huts where they store important crops such as rice, wheat and corn. When everyone reached Ponnur I stood rooted to the ground to see many temples gathered at one place. The roofs of many temples were extremely beautiful and in one of the temples there were 1110 tiny Shiva gods which was exiting. I even saw a Garuthmantha statue which was 30 Feet tall and a Nandhi(Ox) on which the Shiva god rides on. After looking at the temples my family headed towards Bapatla beach.

when we reached the beach I saw the golden sand and the seawater glittering in the orange sunlight. The sky was a delightful expanse of azure blue, dotted with magnolia white clouds. The sand was as hard as concrete and you must rub it with your toes to dig the sand. Even Motorcycles and small cars can travel on the sand which is very strong. I rushed towards the sand and stood in the wavy water. I watched the waves for a while and when I looked down I saw the sand underneath my feet moving towards the deeper waters. Then my grandmother called me for lunch. The waiters took 50Min's to serve lunch to us. I even looked at 1 of the houses in the Haritha beach resort.
